Dhari/Skull/Island represent our old people that have passed on from our island who had order in place from upholding cultural values, protocols and traditions.

Spirit represents when there was a death in our community, back as a child, I remember that death was treated properly and respect by the whole community.

I would see the whole community mourn and how the community would attend to the decreased family house.

The Coconut represents how we still mark land boundaries and used for cooking with the coconut leaves and coconut milk for eating.

Sea/Turtle & Dugong represents our traditional practices we still do today and how their both at risk of being stopped from being hunted by the government from our people to practice initiation,  ceremonies and feasting.

The two main traditional foods both play a big part in helping us in everyday living and both are our peoples totem.

As myself, I am a Dugong totem person.
