The Ngagalayg (eagle) was one bird I wanted to catch every since I was a child. When I was growing up on Yorke Island, we had a pet seagull that my dad caught.

I just had a 'thing' for birds and I only had small birds as pets.

I always thought if I had a pet Ngagalayg, I would teach it to catch fish for me.
