Ngalpun Adhiel (Our Totems) This print of mine Ngalpun Adhiel (our totems) is my latest lino print based on my mum and her sister’s totem.

The dugong when I carve it, I have a spiritual connection with my mum. I think about her. The dugong today are an endangered species with the threat of the boat propeller. One of our traditional foods and plays a bit part in our cultural practise eg. Ceremonies we want to protect it and medical uses.
