This print is one of my first drypoint medium prints created using the recycled liquid milk container. In this print I tell the story of Our two main traditional foods the dugong and the turtle both which are killed in large numbers by the ghostnets floating everywhere in Our Torres Strait Waters. The ghost nets which the commercial boat cut loose when staged are the biggest kills of not only the dugongs and turtles also every sea creatures sharks, dolphins etc..

The reason I used the colour red its are threat now and I feel there's not enough thats being done about cleaning the ghost net up here in the Torres Strait Waters. Giving warning also that these pests the ghostnets is a current threat and a high risk for Us because Our people travel on the waters by outboard powered boats. The ghostnets needs to be cleared from Our Waters,reefs and islands
