Guided by Indigenous-led creative facilitators, participants had the opportunity to explore how traditional stories, visual motifs and cultural perspectives can be translated into moving image and digital animation.
The workshop forms part of a broader vision to grow skills development opportunities, encourage creative innovation and support future generations of artists living and working on Country. Through digital animation, artists can experiment with new forms of expression while continuing to share the stories, knowledge and spirit of Badu Island with wider audiences.
