Details
In Kukai Season, when the north west winds come to Badu, is the time for hunting Thupmul or file rays. The wind disturbs the ocean floor and brings everything up so when the sea snakes start appearing we know that it’s time to hunt the rays. It’s also the time that the Burr shells make their way out of the mud ready for harvest – they are great with a beer at the end of the day! Tipoti Nona 2024
