This print is of a Dhibadhib (Breast plate/emblem) representing my connection to my clan. The main component shown in the center is a UMAY (dog) this is my ancestral totem linage on my maternal side. This Dhibadhib is is shaped in the form of the moon crescent. Below the dhibadhib I show images of our island Dhoeri (headdresses). The cuts on the shape of these dhoeries depict ears of one of my totems, in this case the Umay (dog) The repeated pattern detailed within the dhibadhib represent my siblings (four brothers and three sisters) Aiona Tala Gaidan 2018
