Long after the breeding season, the female turtle swims back to the exact same beach where it first hatched.

No matter how far she travels she will always travel back to the same spot to lay her eggs.

In this artwork, I show the turtle crawling up the beach looking for the right spot to make its nest.

Meanwhile the turtle is being watched by a goanna hiding in the nearby bushes.

As soon as the turtle lays her eggs and sets off, the goanna walks out and starts digging the nest up to find one of it favourite foods.
