As one of Australia’s leading celebrations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and culture, DAAF brings together Indigenous owned Art Centres and artists from across the country to share stories, culture and contemporary creative practice.
This year we will be presenting a new collection of artworks created by Badu artists, alongside a selection of merchandise available for purchase throughout the fair. Visitors will have the opportunity to connect with our artists, learn more about our culture and support ethical purchasing directly from community Art Centres.
DAAF continues to play an important role in supporting First Nations artists and remote communities, with all sales going directly back to artists and their Art Centres. The event also celebrates the diversity and strength of Indigenous art, design and storytelling through exhibitions, workshops, performances and cultural programming.
